MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Mount Pleasant police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a firearm incident near a business on Belle Station Boulevard.
The incident, which involved the pointing and presenting of a firearm, occurred at approximately 4:35 p.m. near the Planet Fitness location at Belle Station Boulevard, according to Sgt. Robert Blaschke with the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area as the search continues.
No shots have been fired, and there are no reported injuries at this time, police said.
