LOS ANGELES (KABC) — It's still winter but some parts of Southern California will see summer-like conditions this weekend amid a warming trend.
Gusty winds remain Friday and a wind advisory continues through mid-afternoon for parts of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
Temperatures will warm up during the weekend, with more places in the 80s.
On Friday, Los Angeles and Orange counties can expect a high of 79 degrees and a low of 52. Conditions will be mostly sunny.
The valleys and Inland Empire Friday will see similar conditions. Temperatures increase during the weekend, and it could reach the mid-80s Sunday.
At the beaches, expect sunny and mild conditions Friday. The high temperature will reach 70 degrees, and the low will drop to 49.
In the mountains, expect a sunny day with breezy conditions Friday. The afternoon high will reach 55, dropping to 27 overnight.
Deserts Friday will be sunny and cool. The high temperature will be 66, dropping to 33 overnight.
