SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Empire Mental Health Support is adding two new support groups.
Phyllis Arrends and Debra Piper with Empire Mental Health Support joined Dakota News Now to talk about the new groups.
“Empire Mental Health Support is the Sioux Falls-based nonprofit, working to make Sioux Falls a better place for people who are touched by mental illness,” said Arrends.
“The new groups are coming in on Thursdays. There’s a group at 3:00 pm, at Active Generations, and a group at 6:30 pm at First Congregational,” said Piper.
Groups vary in types of support and are for anyone who feels the need to talk about their mental health with people who have similar experiences.
