UnitedHealthcare and Essentia Health have reached an agreement on a new contract. The contract ensures continued, uninterrupted network access to Essentia Health’s hospitals, facilities and its physicians.
The UnitedHealthcare and Essentia Health agreement also ensure people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored commercial plans. Some of these plans are UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans, including Group Retiree and Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP). The agreement also ensures the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan (Medicaid) of Wisconsin
According to an announcement from UnitedHealthcare stating, “We are honored to continue supporting all of the people throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota who depend on us for access to quality and affordable health care through a robust network of providers.”
